We know many nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses are not having the success they wish to have when they attempt to reach individuals in BIPOC communities with essential health information and services. This panel and training will help you explore ways to connect with these special populations in an honorable and informed way. Learn about the theory and the practice of reaching BIPOC community members through health promotions. You can have success working in these communities that have been deemed "hard to reach". You can be a part of the solution and address the negative impacts of some of the social determinants that directly affect the health of BIPOC persons and communities.Â
