This funder generally focuses on:
The Hanley Family Foundations mission is to advance the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of alcoholism, chemical dependency and addictive behavior, including support for related research and education. We support organizations whose primary focus is to help individuals to recover from, or avoid, substance use disorder. Due to the lack of treatment services, opportunities to support new or expanding programs that will allow more people to seek recovery are particularly attractive to HFF.
-Please note, for the current year, we have already expended the portion of our funds allocated for prevention efforts. As such, we are not supporting any further prevention-oriented projects at this time -To qualify, your organization must be a public charity and tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code -Each year we make grants to organizations in the United States that are themselves tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) and that qualify as public charities as described in Section 509(a)(1), (2) or (3)
